Wolff – Flesh, Blood, Skin & Bone

On first listen, you could be forgiven for thinking that Flesh, Blood, Skin & Bone was the product of a band from the Deep South of the United States.
With a captivating rhythm and a vocal tone like that of an experienced pastor from Louisiana, this release from Wolff sounds like it could be the theme music for a gritty cop show on Sky Atlantic.
Surprisingly, Wolff are not a band based out of a New Orleans garage. The place they call home? Wexford.

Dubbing 2016 “the year of the Wolff”, we can expect big things from this trio, lead by front-man Johnny Stewart, over the next few months. Currently in studio working towards their debut release, judging by sneak peaks on their Instagram, it will be a record filled with loud riffs and loud drums; a perfect combo.

If you like what you hear, you can see them for yourself as part of the Ones to Watch 2016 weekend Upstairs in Whelans on Saturday, February 13th. For more information visit their website, here.
