This week, the original Hurlers (minus a still M.I.A John) chat glorious (and not so glorious) last hurrahs in honour of Robbie Keane sailing off into the international sunset. They discuss sports stars who have burst onto the big stage as teenagers only to fade into relative obscurity under the weight of expectation and ask if this current Dublin team are relatable enough to become Hill 16 cult heroes. They also question what Irish provinces can reasonably expect from this rugby season (and if they can make people care again) and finish off with the weekly quiz, on this Sunday’s hurling final.
